This 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door sedan was refurbished about 5 years ago and spent time in Texas before it was acquired by the Belgian owner in 2021. The car is finished in redwith a white roof over a red velours interior and is powered by a 235ci inline-six paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes chrome bumpers and trim, dual side mirrors, vent windows, and a heater/defroster. This first-generation Bel Air is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer in Belgium with manufacturer’s literature, a binder of refurbishment photos, and Belgian registration. Dutch, French and German registration can be arranged.
The car features a white roof with matching quarter-panel spear trim moldings as well as chrome bumpers with overriders, dual chrome side mirrors, a hood ornament, and rear fender skirts. Body-color 15″ steel wheels wear polished covers and are mounted with 7.10-15 Firestone whitewall tires. All chrome has been redone and in excellent condition.
The cabin features two rows of bench seats upholstered in red velours and white vinyl along with matching door panels and carpets. Equipment includes vent windows, a heater/defroster, a lockable glovebox newer radio and speakers, and a compass.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a full chrome horn ring and frames a 110-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for engine temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure.
The 235ci inline-six is fed by a single carburetor and was factory rated at 115 horsepower. The car is equipped with a 12-volt electrical system, and the selling dealer notes that the radiator has been re-cored.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission.
During the restoration, the engine is completely rebuilt with all correct parts.
