This 1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe is finished in Rangoon Red and powered by a 289ci A-code V8 paired with a rebuilt green-dot C4 automatic transmission. It is also comes equipped with a Deluxe interior, factory air conditioning, and power steering. The previous owner has added around 3k miles since acquiring the car eight years ago. Within the past year, this example has received a suspension overhaul, new Edelbrock carburetor, Pertronix ignition, and more as outlined below. This Mustang is now being offered with records back to 2009, spares a clean Kansas title and EU-import papers stating all import duties are paid. French registration can be arranged for €200.
The car has been garage kept since 2009 and the body remains finished in the original color, and mostly stock appearance, with GT badging, fog lamps, and side stripes. When the seller acquired the car, the trunk lid was fitted with a luggage rack. He has since installed a replacement lid without a rack, though the original lid is included with the sale. Close-ups of cosmetic imperfections are shown in the gallery below. The seller has kept the car out of the rain, but indicates that the door seals leak while washing.
A set of Xenon head lights have been installed in the original light assemblies, and chassis work performed within the past year included a new set of shocks, springs, and a wheel alignment. Further work included new hoses and valves for the power steering.
