This 1966 Ford Mustang coupe A-code was built in San Jose, California , and is finished in Ivy Green Metallic over black vinyl upholstery. Power comes from a rebuilt 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes chrome 15″ wheels, front disc brakes, a Petronix ignition system, Flame-Thrower coil, Edelbrock carburetor, and newer vintage-style radio. The car is freshly imported from California by a professional seller and is sold a clean California title and European import papers stating all import duties are paid.
The exterior and engine compartment were repainted in their original Ivy Green Metallic (Code R) shade. GT stripe decals were professionally installed, and reproduction front and rear bumpers, front valance turn signals, GT badges, gas cap, side mirror, and reverse lights were fitted. Most sheet metal panels and other components are said to show date-correct stampings and a small metal patch is noted on the transmission hump at the driver’s side seat belt.
New steel wheels are wrapped in Hankook Optimo white wall tires. The front grill was refurbished and some patina is noted on the fog lights, while pitting is present on the door handles.

Inside, the front bucket seats were re-upholstered in black vinyl while the rear seat reportedly retains original coverings. New door panels, carpeting, and seatbelts were added. Glass is said to be original apart from the front windshield which was replaced during the refurbishment. The dash was stripped to bare metal, repainted, and fitted with a new dash pad. A new retro-style radio was installed with external audio connections, a new speaker, and the original five-gauge instrument bezel. 35k miles are shown on the odometer, but true mileage is unknown.
When the seller purchased the car, it was equipped with a 302ci V8. The seller installed a rebuilt 289ci A-code V8 with an Edelbrock carburetor and electric choke, Pertronix electronic ignition, and a Flame-Thrower coil. The C4 automatic transmission was rebuilt, and less than 1k miles have been added since. The seller notes a whining power steering pump, and no belt is installed in photographs. All work was completed by the seller himself, and no service records are available.
