This 1966 Mercedes-Benz 200 was reportedly sold new in France and imported to Italy in 2007, was partially refurbished under previous ownership during the years. The car is finished in blue over a grey interior, and power is provided by a twin-carbureted 2.0L inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission.
This W110 Fintail is now offered by the selling dealer in consignment and has Italian papers and ASI certificate.
The selling dealer states the body was refinished in the original color Blue Grey (162) and that the chrome bumpers were replaced along with the grille and door handles. The paint, glass, and trim are shown up close in the gallery below. Small imperfections are notice on the right side.
Factory 13″ steel wheels feature polished hubcaps with color-matched centers.
Older Champiro whitewall tires are under the car. The white wall on the right front side is a bit damaged from wear.
The cabin is upholstered in grey cloth with vinyl inserts. Equipment includes seat belts, crank windows, and a heater. The selling dealer states some imperfections in the interior such as a worn horn cap, small tear in the driver seat and the dash which is slightly wavy. All of this is shown in the pictures.
Vertically-oriented VDO instrumentation is augmented by a gauges for fuel, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. Approximately 55k km are shown on the odometer.
The M121 2.0L inline-four sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Mechanically everything is refurbished in 2018. All numbers match and are shown in the gallery. A recent oil change was performed.
