This 1968 Ford Mustang is a J-Code car powered by a 302ci, 4v V8 backed by a C4 automatic transmission. The car has been modified to resemble a GT, including a dual-exhaust rear valence, Magnum 500 wheels, GT badging, and a deluxe interior. The engine has been modified with an Edelbrock manifold and Holley carb, as well as Cobra finned aluminum valve covers and a Cobra air cleaner. The seller has serviced the car in preparation for sale, including fresh fluids in the engine, transmission, and rear end. This Mustang is offered with a Deluxe Marti Report, a clean Oregon title and EU import papers proving all import duties are paid.
This Mustang was modified some time ago from its original appearance to more closely resemble a GT. A GT rear valence is fitted, with cut-outs for the single-tip dual exhaust. The finned taillight filler panel is said to be a factory Ford piece. Other modifications include the C-stripe, Shelby-style fiberglass hood, and painted Magnum 500 wheels with polished trim rings. The tires are BFG Radial T/As measuring P235/60r14 at the front, and 245/60r14 at the rear.
The seller states that it is unknown if the current color is original, as it is not indicated on the Marti report. While going through the car, they have not found evidence of any colors other than white. The current paint job appears to be older, and the seller notes some chips, as well as some imperfections on the bodywork near the rear edge of the black vinyl top and on the lower driver door. The vinyl top is said to be in very good condition. Paint meter readings were done and showed now excessive bondo or other issues.
This Mustang is equipped with the optional center console, as well as a Deluxe interior. The seller states that the dash pad is new, and the car features original-style Pony rubber floor mats. The woodgrain dash trim is older, though a faint, faded Carroll Shelby signature is present on the passenger side panel. The radio and clock are in place but not functioning, and 66k miles are shown on the odometer.
Originally this Mustang was ordered with a standard interior, but at some point in its life it was changed over to a Deluxe interior, including seat upholstery and door panels.
Power comes from a 302, 4v V8, as the J-Code car would have been originally delivered, though it is unknown if this particular engine is original. The transmission is a C4 automatic. Several modifications are present, including Cobra valve covers and a Cobra air cleaner, long tube headers, a mild cam, Mallory ignition, Edelbrock Performer 4v intake, and a Holley Street Avenger 670cfm 4v carburetor. Other modifications include a one-piece rear shock tower bar and a Monte Carlo bar. The seller has serviced the car with all new fluids, including a new transmission filter, pan gasket and transmission fluid, as well as new differential oil.

The seller has also checked for matching VINs under the front fender lips, and reports that they match.
