This 1968 Lancia Flavia was originally sold new in Sicily and was stored from the late 80’s until 2006 when it was purchased by the previous owner. It was partially restored, including a repaint in the original color Blu Lancia & mechanically reconditioned. The car still has it’s original 1800cc flat-four coupled to a manual 4-speed. It’s sold with ASI inspection – confirming original color, interior and engine, – a clean Italian Libretto and a certificate of ownership in the owner’s name.
The body was refinished in the original color Blu Lancia in 2006. All chrome is still on the car, but the seller indicates that the left front headlight surround needs to be re-aligned. Paint meter readings from the car are shown in the gallery.
The steel wheels still wear the original Lancia hubcaps. Tires were replaced in 2017 and still have a lot of thread.
The dash features a renewed wooden fascia and Veglia instrument clusters. 35k kilometers shown on the odometer, and the seller believes that it has rolled over once. The interior still has its original grey velour with no rips or tears. Newer rubber floor mats are currently in the car.
The horizontally four-cylinder has a capacity of 1800cc and a single twin-choke Solex carburetor is equipped here. Power is delivered to the front wheels with a 4-speed manual gearbox, and recent servicing included a tune up and oil change. During the refurbishment, the power brakes and power steering were rebuilt, along with the radiator.
Pictures of the suspension and undercarriage are viewable in the gallery below. Included with the sale are a matching spare and jack.
