This 1969 Plymouth Satellite Sport is a two-door hardtop example that was restored in the late ‘90s to a Road Runner clone. In 2006 it was shipped to Belgium. The car is finished in purple over grey/black cloth upholstery and is powered by a 383ci V8 paired with a new TCI 727 3-speed automatic. The car has extensive records dating back to the early 90’s. The car is sold in consignment with Belgian registration.
During the restoration the car was repainted purple and ‘80s styled stickers were added. “15 Weld racing wheels are fitted under the car. The car has some corrosion in the usual spots. The lower rear fenders do have some corrosion, same as the lower parts of the doors. Replacement panels can be provided as an extra by the selling dealer. The floors are original and rust free, same for the trunk.
Interior has been refurbished in 2006 with new seat covers (original ones come with the sale), new carpet & suede headliner. The speedometer is faulty but the odometer works as it should. All other gauges & aftermarket radio work.
The engine is replaced by a 383 Big Block with Holley Street Dominator intake, MOPAR performance valve covers, MSD ignition and a Holley Double Pumper. The automatic has been replaced by a new 727 automatic from TCI. Recent work contains oil change and new oil filter, new coil, spark plugs and cables.
