This 1972 Fiat 130 was sold new in Switzerland where it stayed until 2002. It was then purchased by the selling owner and imported to France. A repaint in the original color was performed in 2009, and the car reportedly received additional cosmetic updates at the same time, including a refurbished interior. Power comes from a 3.2-liter V6 mated to a Borg-Warner 3-speed automatic transmission, and the seller notes that the car has been driven just 936 miles since 2002. This Fiat is one of 1,746 Coupés produced in 1972 and is sold with French registration.
The car was repainted in 2009 and still appears to be in very good condition. Various scratches and chips are present in the finish as detailed in the gallery. All exterior lights and power windows are functional, and a fold-down license plate bracket is mounted to the rear fascia. The Fiat Cromodora wheels are mounted with a set of Michelin XWX tires.
The interior is trimmed in red leather, and the driver’s seat shows creasing and looseness on the lower cushion. Optional air conditioning is present but currently not functional, and the seller notes that the door locks do not work with the included key.
The seller reports that the dash and center console have no cracks present, and an aftermarket Alpine radio has been fitted in place of the factory unit. All gauges are functional, and the odometer currently shows 17,936 miles.
All 130s built after 1971 were fitted with the Type B 3.2-liter V6, which sends power to the rear wheels through a Borg-Warner 3-speed automatic transmission in this example. An oil change and tune-up were performed earlier this year.
Various undercarriage photos have been provided, showing the brakes, suspension, and chassis components.
A factory service manual is included in the sale along with various owner’s manuals and period brochures.
