This 1973 Mercedes-Benz 450SL roadster has reportedly remained within the seller’s family from new, and now shows 75k miles. The car is finished in yellow over beige MB-Tex and is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. A refurbishment was conducted in 1993, and the seller reports that an oil change was performed in late 2020. This R107 is offered at no reserve with hard and soft tops, spare floor mats, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The body and matching hardtop were delivered from the factory in Maple Yellow (606 G), and the current finish is believed to be a repaint completed in 1993. The seller took possession of the car in 2014.

Bucket seats are trimmed in pleated beige MB-Tex with textured center inserts. Heathered tan carpets line the floors, and a set of jute floor mats is included in the sale.

Amenities include power windows, central locking, Behr air conditioning, and a Becker Mexico cassette radio. The four-spoke steering wheel frames a tan dash housing VDO instrumentation including an analog clock, a tachometer with a 5,700-rpm redline, and a 160-mph speedometer with a six-digit odometer showing 48k miles.

The 4.5-liter M117 V8 features a single overhead camshaft per cylinder bank and Bosch fuel injection and produced 190 horsepower with 240 lb-ft of torque when new.
