This 1974 Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV is finished in red over black and powered by a 2.0-liter twin-cam four paired with a 5 speed manual. Accompanying receipts show the car was sold new in Connecticut and spent much of its life there with three prior owners. Services completed one month ago included an oil/filter change, new spark plugs, and a timing adjustment. This GTV is offered with two sets of wheels, original AR Service Coupon Book, service records since 1984, and a clean Arizona title and European import papers.
A repaint in original red was completed about 12 years ago, with prep reportedly requiring no rust repairs. 15″ Alfaholics GTA-style wheels wear Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires all around, with a matching spare wheel/tire stored in the trunk. A set of 14″ AR Cromodora Campanatura 38 wheels with Falken Ziex ZE912 tires is also included in the sale.
Type 115.01 indicates a 2000 GT Veloce built for the US market, and chassis number AR*3023004 falls in the range associated 1974 GTV production.
The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl along with a matching rear bench, dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include wood dashboard and center console trim and polished door sills. The light switch on the steering column was replaced in January 2020.
The dash shows no obvious cracks or distortions. The Jaeger cluster includes a 5-digit odometer registering 69k miles, which the seller believes is accurate.
The 2.0-liter twin-cam four has been fitted with dual Weber 40 DCOE side draft carbs and Beck Arnley Hi-Temp silicone plug wires. The original SPICA fuel injection no longer accompanies the car.
