hardtop and black convertible soft top. Additional features include quad headlights, front fog lights, a power antenna, heated side view mirrors, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. Chrome wheels with gold Mercedes-Benz emblems are fitted with newer Michelin Tires.
The black soft top was replaced in 2012 and the rear window reportedly remains clear and pliable. A matching factory hardtop is included with the sale, pictures of which may be seen in the gallery below.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in Palomino leather (274) along with a black dashboard and burled wood trim. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows and locks, and a modern Blaupunkt stereo in place of the original Becker Grand Prix. According to the seller, all gauges and options work as intended, and the recently serviced air conditioning blows cold.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 69k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership.
The engine compartment remains largely as the factory intended, and the M117-series fuel-injected V8 is paired to a four-speed automatic gearbox. A general inspection was recently performed prior to the sale.
No prior accidents or damage are indicated on the included Carfax and registrations are reported back to 1991. The original glove compartment books, tool roll, and spare tire have also been retained.
