This 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was purchased by the selling dealer on auction September 2022 and was then shipped to Germany where it’s now offered offered for sale. The previous owner purchased the car in 2009 and driven approximately 45k miles over the course of his ownership. Finished in Olympic White over tan leather, power is provided by a 360ci V8 backed by a 3-speed automatic and Selec-Trac four-wheel drive. Retained service records highlight belt changes, a new battery, rebuilt carburetor, a tune-up, chassis undercoating, and converting the A/C to R134. This Wagoneer is offered with much of its original paperwork and books, service records from the previous owner, a clean Carfax, clean Ohio title and European import documents stating all import duties are paid. German registration can be provided by the selling dealer.
The Olympic White finish is reported by the seller to be the original paint and was independently verified at the time of his purchase.
Imperfections include a wear spot on the woodgrain along the rear spoiler and left door, and some crackling to the surface of the plastic covering for the chrome rain guards. A few small areas of surface rust on the right fender and at the base of the window on the left side, all of which have been touched up with matching paint and shown in detail below.
The factory radio has been replaced with an new Pioneer CD unit, though the original radio is included in the sale. Apart from the A/C that does not blow cold and the inability to adjust the clock, all remaining power accessories and instruments remain in working order. The odometer indicates 113,035 miles and is reported by the seller to be accurate.
Leather upholstery exhibits some age-related creasing to their surfacing, though remain free of any apparent tears or rips. The power door lock switch on the driver’s door shows some noted age-related wear according to the seller. A set of rubber floormats have been added by the seller, with the original carpeted mats included in the sale.
The 360ci V8 backed by a 3-speed automatic and is equipped with Selec-Trac 4wd. The service history file dates back to the prior owners, and shows maintenance performed on the truck that includes a rebuild of the carburetor, new battery, spark plugs, wires, distributor, manifold gasket, starter solenoid, and conversion of the A/C to R134. Recent work includes new fuel lines, drive belts, and radiator. The noted A/C issue was diagnosed as requiring a new low-side hose from the compressor to the evaporator.
Several photos are included of the undercarriage, which was undercoated by the seller in 2009 and is believed to have been given similar treatments by the previous owners.
The Carfax report history displays ownership in North Carolina and Ohio. Included in the sale are the original carpeted floor mats, original radio, a set of AMC keys, owner’s manual, and the factory jack in its original pouch.
