Description

This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL spent time in multiple states before being acquired by the selling dealer in Belgium, and it now shows 76k miles. The car is finished in derisable Blauschwarz Metallic (199) over gray leather and is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes a body-color removable hardtop, a black convertible soft top, chrome 15″ Gullideckel wheels, a refurbished Becker Radio, automatic climate control, and burl wood interior trim. Work under current ownership is said to have included replacement of the fuel pumps and power steering pump, new spark plugs as well as an oil change. This R107 is offered at no reserve with a hardtop stand, a clean Carfax report, a clean Ohio title & European import papers stating all taxes are paid.

The car is finished in Blauschwarz Metallic (199) with a newer black convertible soft top and a body-color removable hardtop. Chrome-finished 15″ Gullideckel wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Advantage T/A tires. A full-sized spare wearing a Pirelli Cinturato Radial P6 tire is housed in the trunk.

The cabin features Gray leather (278) upholstery with matching carpets and door panels as well as burl wood trim on the dashboard and center console. Amenities include automatic climate control, a refurbished Becker Grand Prix with bluetooth, cruise control, power windows, and central locking. The dash was cracked and was professionally restored. The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline. The six-digit odometer shows 76k miles, approximately 5oo of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 5.5-liter M117 V8 was rated at 227 horsepower and 287 lb-ft when new. Servicing under current ownership is said to have included replacement of the fuel pumps and power steering pump as well as an oil change and new spark plugs. The air conditioning has been converted to R134a refrigerant according to the seller.
