This 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a 360ci V8 powered example which has been lightly modified. A GM-based Howell throttle body fuel injection kit was fitted as wel as rear shoulder belts, and an upgraded RediRad conversion for the stock radio, giving AUX input capabilities. The truck is otherwise unmodified, and benefits an A/C conversion to R134a done in 2017 including a new compressor, expansion valve, and dryer. Other work includes new power steering hoses, new valve covers, a fuel injection service and a new battery. Mileage is shown as 128k, and this Wagoneer is now being offered with a clean Carfax a clean Texas title and EU Import documents.
This Grand Wagoneer retains correct trim, bumpers and lighting, as well as plastic edged wood trim. Stock Wagoneer wheels are fitted, with era-correct narrow white wall tires. All of the windows work as they should, including the roll-down rear window.
Detailed photos are provided of the rockers, as well as the wood applique trim and plastic edging.
Light creasing is visible on the front seats, but the interior upholstery appears otherwise free of visible wear and tear. The seller recently had the A/C system fully serviced. The system is said to work as it should. Wagoneer World’s upgrades included a RediRad upgrade to the stock radio, allowing AUX input to the stock head unit. 128k miles are shown on the six-digit odometer.
The Wagoneer World modifications included a conversion to rear shoulder belts, rather than the standard rear lap belts. The rear cabin and cargo area are both clean, with deep, dark carpets and upholstery.
Power comes from the correct 360ci V8, which was upgraded with a Howell fuel injection setup rather than the stock carburetor. The seller states that the upgrade offers improved fuel economy and reliability. The Howell system uses GM TBI components, and gives the truck OBD-I diagnostic capabilities. The upgrades were fitted 28k miles ago in 2012.
