This 1989 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 is finished in black over gray cloth and powered by a 7.4-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 16″ steel wheels, chrome bumpers, front bucket seats, third-row seating, cruise control, air conditioning, and Panasonic CD stereo. The truck was sold new in California , and remained in the state through the selling dealer’s acquisition in December 2023. This Suburban is now offered with a clean California Title and import papers stating all import duties are paid. In addition, Dutch, Belgian or German registration can be provided.

The truck was repainted in black and grey. Exterior equipment includes quad headlights, bodyside moldings, rear ambulance doors, and chrome bumpers. The selling dealer notes that the repaint is not a high quality finish and perhaps should be redone at some point. The seller also reports that there is no rust or bondo on the car. The roof rack was removed at some point and the mounting holes were sealed. The selling dealer also has new bodyside moldings ready to be installed.

The 16″ steel wheels wear ‘dog dish’ hubcaps with newer tires. Stopping power is provided by front discs and anti-lock rear drums, and the booster and master cylinder assembly were replaced in May 2022.

The eight-passenger cabin features front bucket seats trimmed in Slate Gray cloth, and amenities include a folding second-row bench, removable third-row seating, cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, and an Panasonic radio. The dashboard has no cracks and the headliner is not sagging.

The steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and frames an 85-mph speedometer as well as gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer indicates 69k miles.

In comparison with the 1500 Suburban, the 2500 suburban has stronger axles (8 bolt axles instead of 5 bolt), stronger suspension and an upgraded frame. The 7.4-liter V8 features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 522 Nm of torque. Prior to the sale a reseal following works were done: a reseal of the rear axle, new fuel tank with a new fuel pump, rebuilt power steering and oil change. The underside looks clean without corrosion or damages.
