This 1992 Land Rover Defender 90 is a Spanish-market example powered by a 2.5-liter 200Tdi inline-four mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and finished in blue over black. The truck was manufactured in the UK and reportedly first sold in Spain, where it remained until February 2018 when a refurbishment in the Netherlandswas done. After this, the car was sold to it’s current seller who lived in the US back then. When he moved back to Holland, the car moved with him and was registered again in Holland. This D90 is offered with an owner’s manual and Dutch registration.
The truck was repainted in Arles Blue with a cream hardtop roof, and the gallery below contains over 40 exterior photos illustrating its overall condition. Steel 12-hole wheels were painted to match the cream top and wear a new set of Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires. The suspension and braking systems were also refreshed, and each hub was fitted with a new wheel bearing.
The interior is finished in grey houndstooth, matching plastic door panels, and a black dashboard. The body-colored floorboards are fitted with a set of rubber logo floor mats, and the black center console lid depicted above has since been topped with a padded grey cover as shown in the gallery. Approximately 196k kilometres are shown on the 6-digit odometer.
The rear cargo area is equipped with side-facing fold-away benches trimmed in grey fabric to match the front seats, while the painted floorboard remains uncovered.
The 2.5-liter 200Tdi four utilizes a Garrett T25 turbocharger and was factory rated at 107 horsepower. Under the hood work performed in early 2018 reportedly included installation of a new timing belt, water pump, coolant hoses, injector pump, and clutch kit. Power is routed to all four wheels through an LT77 5-speed manual gearbox and 2-speed transfer case.
