This 1999 Fiat Coupé is finished in Moon Grey over tan leather interior and is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 20V inline-four mated with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car underwent a complete refurbishment in 2019 including a total repaint & engine rebuilt. The car is equipped with an exposed fuel filler cap, a rear wiper, four-wheel Brembo disc brakes, air conditioning and power windows. This Coupé shows 113k kilometres and is now offered with an owner’s handbook and Italian registration.
The Coupé body was designed by Chris Bangle and built by Pininfarina. In 1997 the Fiat Coupé received a facelift and took some details from the Turbo Plus such as 6-speed gearbox, grey start button, 16” wheels, white instrument panel with a speedometer up to 280km/h and many more. This example is repainted in 2019 in the original color Moon Grey to address fading and features a rear wiper, angular fender creases, an exposed fuel filler and a front lip spoiler. Details of the paint are seen in the gallery.
Four-spoke 16″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 225/45 tires. Braking power is provided by four-wheel Brembo discs, and the car is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and anti-roll bars.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Tan leather as well as a two-tone dashboard and door panels. Equipment includes air conditioning, analog clock and power windows. At this moment, no radio is installed.
Instrumentation consists of a 280-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 113k kilometers.
The turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four utilizes dual overhead camshafts and 20 valves, and it was factory rated at 220 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. The engine was completely rebuilt at 112k km with photos shown in the gallery.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a Viscodrive limited-slip differential.
